Matthew Rhodes is an established Movie and Television producer with over 25 years experience in the Entertainment Business. Rhodes has Produced over 40 movies and television shows, working with top tier filmmakers and actors and his movies have achieved over $1 Billion in Worldwide Box Office, World Premiered at the most prestigious of film festivals, and received terrific reviews and Award-winning recognition.
Rhodes is the President of The Hideaway Entertainment (2017-Present) where he has Producedor Executive Produced many movies such as Mile 22, Men In Black: International, Bloodshot and the soon to be released Cherry, amongst others.
Prior to The Hideaway, Rhodes was President of Bold Films (2013-2016) and during his time there they released movies such as Whiplash, Nightcrawler, No Escape, and Shot Caller, amongst many others. Prior to that, Rhodes was President of Mandalay Entertainment (2011-2013), where he Produced Dark Places, The Voices, and Fire with Fire, amongst others. Prior to Mandalay, Rhodes had his own company Persistent Entertainment (1997-2011), where he Produced dozens of movies such as An Unfinished Life, Southland Tales, Passengers, and many more. Before starting his career as a Producer, Rhodes worked as an Assistant to Producer, Scott Rudin and prior to that, Rhodes worked in various capacities in production.
Before to his time in Los Angeles, Rhodes lived in Ohio, and graduated with a B.A. from Ohio University’s School of Telecommunications in Film and Television, Producing and Directing.
